Many congratulates Tambuwal as he wins Sokoto governorship elections

Sokoto was among some States in Nigeria that were declared inclusive by INEC where supplementary elections were planned for this Saturday to eventually decide winners of states Governorship seats.

Congratulatory messages have been pouring in from various quarters as INEC returned Tambuwal as the Governor-Elect of Sokoto State Nigeria having defeated his opponent of the APC with a very slim margin.

The results following the supplementary elections had PDP scoring 512,002 votes while the APC candidate garnered 511,660 votes with Tambiwal the PDP candidate winning with a paltry 342 votes to win the Governorship election of Sokoto State.

Atiku Abubakar the PDP Presidential candidate was among those that congratulated Tambuwal on his re-election as Sokoto State Governor commending the people of Sokoto State for making a good choice in the person of Tambuwal.

Reno-Omokri also sent his congratulatory message and in addition assured Atiku Abubakar the PDP Presidential candidate of victory in the Tribunal which will eventually lead to resounding congratulations likewise.

Ben Murray-Bruce the owner of Silverbird popularly called the “Common Sense Senator” was not left out, he referred to Tambuwal as his friend who has served the good people of Sokoto well in the past 4 years in office.

Tambuwal’s opponent in the Governorship Elections has since congratulated him despite the slim margin of victory and this very uncommon among Nigerian politicians considering the 342 votes marginal win.
