Lady calls out Banky W for collecting N57m to promote Buhari and failing to do so

The suspension of the CJN Justice Onnoghen has given rise to disagreements between political bigwigs as well as celebrities because of the diverse positions they have taken in the controversial swearing in of Justice Tanko as Acting CJN by Buhari.

Shalom Mirian Shehu has on Saturday accused Banky W a former music star turned politician of collecting N57m from an agent of President Muhammadu Buhari through his PR company to promote the re-election of the President.

Banky W had earlier tweeted, “At the end of the day, the President’s act is unconstitutional and our leaders have a responsibility to defend the constitution. This is unacceptable.”

Ironically, Banky W, according to the Shalom is not seen carrying out the work he was paid for and instead was criticising President Muhammadu Buhari over the issue surrounding the suspension of Justice Onnoghen and swearing in Justice Tanko as acting CJN.

“Mr. Wellington, come out and support Buhari with your chest. You can’t be doing this non-partisan shift forever”

“Your EME Company you converted to PR firm got a contract of N57m through one Abubakar Ahmed to promote Buhari. Why have you not been doing your work?” she queried.

Few days ago, Babatunde Fashola, a former governor of Lagos State from where Banky W hails, has advised voters to collect bribe from politicians because the monies were stolen from government coffers that was meant for the citizens.

This advice of Babatunde Fashola is somehow similar to what the music star is being accused of by Shalom whereas Banky W has since denied the allegation as not true but lies.
