Governor Wike constitutes judicial commission of inquiry into 7-storey building collapse in Rivers State

A tall building has collapsed few days ago at Woji Estate, GRA, Port Harcourt, Rivers State killing and trapping some persons with rescue operations still ongoing. The collapsed site has been visited by the Rivers State Governor as well as the immediate past president Goodluck Jonathan.

The Governor of Rivers State Nyesom Wike has today constitutes a judicial commission of inquiry to help unravel the immediate and remote causes of the unfortunate incidence which has thrown the whole of Rivers State into mourning.

The 5-man strong judicial commission of inquiry will comprise a chairman and four members and “will be inaugurated on Tuesday 4th December 2018 at the Executive Council Chambers, Government House, Port Harcourt at 11.00am by the Governor of Rivers State His Excellency Nyesom Ezenwo Wike CON, GSSRS, POS” reads a statement.

The members are Hon. Justice Adolphus Enebeli (Chairman); Engr. Iboroma Z. S. (Member); Emmanuel Asawo FNIQS (Member); TPL Ngozi Oliver Worgu (Member); Arc. Tim Otukeh Orji (Member) and “they are however to be seated at 10.30am” on the day of the inauguration said Emma Okah Hon. Commissioner for Information and Communications for Rivers State.
