The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC responsible for organising and conducting elections in Nigeria has given all political parties the nod to commence elections campaign for both Presidential and National Assemblies contestants from Sunday, November 18, 2018.
Prior to now the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has released a Timetable and Schedule of Activities that indicates campaigns shall start 90 days before the election day in accordance with Section 99(1) of the Electoral Act, 2010 as amended and in the same terminate 24 hours before the election day.
